Host an Event

Ribbon Cuttings

A ribbon-cutting is the ceremony recognizing the following:

  • Grand Openings
  • Anniversaries
  • Expansions
  • Change in Location
  • New Owners/Management

As a free benefit to our members, the St. Charles Area Chamber of Commerce is happy to offer support by publicizing events, providing media and elected officials as well as loaning our ceremonial scissors and ribbon.

THINGS TO CONSIDER

Chamber Responsibilities:

  • Promote ribbon cutting through the website, social media, and electronic
    newsletter.
  • The Chamber will coordinate with the City of St. Charles to invite officials to attend events (mayor/alderman's).
  • A chamber representative (staff, ambassador, or board member) will arrive 10
